Gate Expansion – Harry Reid International Airport

Completed in 2017, the expansion of the Terminal 3 tunnel includes a 995-foot passenger circulation corridor underneath the tarmac. Our mechanical design provides two zones of comfort cooling and smoke control through a new air handling unit and VAV system within the tunnel. We also designed a new chilled water supply and return line from the T3 central plant that delivers chilled water to the new and existing northeast wing of the D Gates’ air handling units. The low voltage design for this expansion includes IT design services for three new IDF rooms, door security, and CCTV security.
