Wichita Biomedical Campus – Wichita State University & KUMED
A partnership between Wichita State University (WSU), Wichita State Technical University, and the University of Kansas Medical Center aims to centralize healthcare education through the construction of the Wichita Biomedical Campus.
The facility will combine WSU’s College of Health Professions, WSU Tech’s Health Professions program, and the Wichita campuses of KU School of Medicine and KU School of Pharmacy. It will include state-of-the-art simulation centers, standardized patient exam rooms, and modern learning facilities. This shared environment will spur economic growth, develop a pool of healthcare professionals, and improve patient care. Henderson Engineers is providing mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire alarm design.
