ASHE Grants 2025 Vista Award to Henderson Hospital Renovation
Henderson Engineers’ renovation of Tower 2 at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Merriam, Kan., is the recipient of the 2025 Vista Award for Renovation from the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE). This recognition honors “outstanding innovation and collaboration in the health care design and construction field.” The $29.2 million project modernized the six-story, 53-year-old tower by upgrading HVAC, electrical, emergency power systems, and more. It was a complex two-year undertaking that was executed while the building was occupied.
