HEI Project Profile - Long

One of the state’s largest shopping centers, Fashion Place is managed by General Growth Properties (GGP) and serves the affluent Salt Lake City community. Since GGP ownership in 2004, the mall has undergone multiple renovations. Henderson Engineers completed a 50,000 SF expansion on the mall’s north end which allowed GGP to bring in long-awaited retailers and restaurants. The expansion included updating interior décor throughout the new concourse area, new exterior storefront finishes, enhanced landscaping, and two new mall entrances. Henderson completed utility coordination and cold dark shell for the expansion project.
