Lake Regional Health System is a long-standing client Henderson Engineers has performed numerous projects for, from minor renovations to major building additions. Due to this relationship, Henderson was the first choice when it came to the renovation of Lake Regional's Obstetrics and Outpatient departments.   Obstetrics was a shelled space planned several years ago as part of a major building addition which we also designed. The building systems were planned years in advance and were all utilized for the Obstetrics department; proper planning for future needs allowed this to occur without major capital outlays for infrastructure equipment.   The outpatient renovation included an area which we originally designed. Again, no major capital outlays were required for infrastructure. A major challenge we were able to overcome for this space was in attempting to fit ductwork, piping, and more into a very tight ceiling plenum.   Both areas were upgraded to current space requirements and technologies. Through our continued work with Lake Regional Health System we were able to help them make the most of their capital investments and strategically prepare them for the future.
