HEI Project Profile - Long

ONT Field is a new Minor League Baseball stadium that serves as the home of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Single-A affiliate and a key anchor within the larger Ontario Sports Empire development in Southern California. Designed to deliver a first-class fan experience, the venue goes beyond baseball with flexible community-focused spaces like a food hall and splash pad that can operate year-round for concerts, festivals, and local events. The project also incorporates sustainability features, including a solar PV canopy over the parking structure. Henderson Engineers supported the fast-paced delivery of the project through close coordination with the design and construction teams, helping maintain the aggressive schedule tied to the team’s inaugural season. Consistent communication and rapid response times during construction were critical to resolving technical challenges and keeping the project moving forward. Working alongside experienced venue partners, Henderson helped deliver a flexible, high-performance facility designed to support both game-day operations and long-term community use. Broadcast Focused (2025 1111) Henderson Engineers is providing comprehensive engineering services for a new professional baseball stadium. The stadium will include 4,500 fixed seats and grass berm seating for an additional 1,500 fans. It will also feature approximately 75,000 SF of food and beverage space, including concessions, premium clubs and suites, and bars, designed to elevate the fan experience. Some key features and systems include: • Broadcast prewire and electrical system for ballpark broadcast systems and sports network operators • Centralized crosspatch room with testing and monitoring systems • Tvrp compound with shore power systems • Game day operation suites and broadcast systems for fan engagement within • the ballpark • Control room with broadcast systems to stream to the MiLB network • Ballpark loudspeaker system • Custom-designed video board to match the look of Dodgers Stadium • Stats board and ribbon boards
