A new multi-agency laboratory campus in Jefferson City will move five state agencies on to one campus. Previously, the Missouri Public Health Laboratory, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Environment Services Program Laboratory, the Department of Conservation Laboratory, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol Forensic Crime Laboratory were all located in different aging buildings. The new laboratory campus will provide a modern facility where the departments can collaborate to better serve the public now and for years to come. Key features: • Wet and dry diagnostic labs, crime labs, and necropsy facility • BSL-2 suites with specialized spaces for forensic biology, chemistry, molecular biology, bacteriology, and CODIS • Parking area with walkway to the State Public Health Laboratory • Two-level lobby and 200-person meeting room with prefunction space • Outdoor roof deck and seating areas • Fitness center, wellness spaces, and large communal breakroom We are providing audio-video, security, and telecom services, designed to integrate seamlessly with other building systems for a comfortable, secure environment. Our robust security system includes access control, surveillance, and chain-of-custody tracking, ensuring the integrity of sensitive lab work and data.
