As the first privately funded building on campus, Werth Family UConn Basketball Champions Center is a testament to the strong support of their athletic program. This facility is home to the men’s and women’s basketball teams providing them an indoor training and practice space. Key components include basketball courts, weight room, athletic training room, sports medicine, lobby/Hall of Fame, meeting rooms, offices, locker rooms, athletes lounge, academic suite and a student athlete learning center. The facility provides much needed space for daily player, staff and coaches operations. In addition, the Basketball Center is seeking LEED Silver Certification.
