Jeff Tomkus

Jeff combines his technical expertise and people-first mindset to drive innovation forward and mentor his peers at Henderson Engineers. As the BIM technical director, he works closely with his team to develop smart quality systems, procedures, and initiatives that ensure compliance and alignment with our company goals, as well as encourage a collaborative work environment. One of his biggest accomplishments at Henderson involved finding a software tool to help our fire team work consistently. This discovery then developed into a companywide initiative that advanced the organizations fire discipline years ahead of the previous operating system.
He is a proud dad of two young daughters who keep him on his toes. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking along the trails at Shawnee Mission Park or unwinding with video games. Jeff has developed an unexpected enjoyment for golf after having caddied one of Henderson’s annual golf tournaments, creating additional quality time and friendly competition between him and his wife.
