Ryan Starkovich
PE
Venue Sector Executive
Growing up in Western Wyoming, Ryan (“Stark” to everyone who knows him) developed a love for family, friends, sports, and sneakers. Stark always dreamed of spending his days in athletics facilities and that dream became a reality when he joined the Henderson Engineers family in 2007, fresh off his graduation from the University of Wyoming. Since then, he has played an integral role in the growth and development of Henderson’s sports practice, where he has led the design of premier athletics stadia, arenas, and practice facilities nationwide. In 2014, he was vital in helping secure the largest sports project in firm history.
Now our venue sector executive, Stark oversees the strategy and trends to support the many practices within the sector including aviation, convention center, entertainment, fitness, and sports projects. While rocking one of his 40 pairs of Air Jordans, he maximizes his robust technical knowledge of large space facilities to lead the team to win new opportunities and keep clients coming back to Henderson. Beyond design and construction, his team loves helping owners throughout the life of the buildings. His favorite moment on a project is watching the excitement and buzz of people as they experience a brand-new facility, knowing his team played a part in bringing the project to life. Whether a play at a performing arts theater, a stadium full of screaming football fans, a bustling airport, venue projects are central to how many of us enjoy our lives and he puts that at the forefront every single day.
