Facilities & Destinations Magazine Features Henderson’s Baird Center Expansion Project

Henderson Engineers served as the Engineer of Record on the recently opened $456 million expansion of the Baird Center in Milwaukee, the largest convention center in Wisconsin. Facilities & Destinations magazine covered the company’s contributions to the project, which doubled the facility’s footprint to 1.3 million square feet and added a bevy of new amenities. Built to meet LEED Silver green building standards, Henderson incorporated a variety of sustainable design approaches, most notably using the city’s existing downtown district steam loop to generate hot water and to provide heating.
