Henderson Expert Publishes Insights on Designing All‑Electric Hospitals
Joe Levin, health sector senior project manager at Henderson Engineers, is the author of a recent article in EC&M magazine focused on electrical design considerations for all-electric hospitals, facilities that rely exclusively on electricity rather than fossil fuels such as natural gas and coal to power critical systems like heating and cooling.
A 19-year industry veteran, Joe recently contributed his expertise to Prosser Memorial Health Hospital in Prosser, Wash., one of the nation’s first all-electric hospitals. In his article, he explores key design priorities including power redundancy, proper load assessment, fail-safe distribution strategies, and emergency preparedness.
