LD+A Magazine Features Henderson’s Las Vegas Aces Practice Facility Project
The WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces is the first team in the league to build its own dedicated practice facility and team headquarters. Henderson Engineers served as Engineer of Record for the historic $40 million, 64,000 square foot venue, which features two full basketball courts, locker and film rooms, a weight and training area, cryotherapy and hydrotherapy zones, and team lounges.
Henderson’s architectural lighting design for the project is the focus of a recent article in LD+A Magazine, the official magazine of the Illuminating Engineering Society. The article includes insights from Jacob Hothan, lead lighting designer, who offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Henderson’s intentional illumination boosts performance, reduces stress, and celebrates the identity of a three‑time championship team.
