Instead of waiting long hours in an emergency room, AdventHealth Centra Care provides convenient walk-in healthcare across the Greater Kansas City area. The urgent care clinics give affordable and immediate medical care for non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones, stomach problems, and pediatric concerns. Each AdventHealth Centra Care clinic is staffed with highly trained physicians. Henderson Engineers designed the building systems that support patient comfort in these cross-functional spaces. Each location was equipped with:  Exam and minor procedure rooms Nurses stations X-ray imaging facilities Drug testing rooms Support spaces We have seen an increase in demand for urgent care facilities, as many of our clients try to reduce emergency room traffic. For us, it’s about thinking beyond what’s required to how the space is used, and ultimately creating a healing place where patients can feel better, faster, and closer to home.
