In 2019, the City of Amarillo gained its minor league baseball team as well as a new, 6,631-seat ballpark. Hodgetown Stadium is a multi-purpose venue designed to spur economic development and play host to a number of concerts, high school and college games, and community events year-round. Henderson Engineers provided the building systems design for this Art Deco inspired facility. The elements of this project included 10,000 SF clubhouse, press rooms, meeting rooms, locker rooms, offices, training rooms, weight room, equipment room, batting tunnel, field maintenance, concessions, ticketing, team store, and commissary/kitchen, suites, and club/lounge spaces.
