Canopy by Hilton provides their guests a curated and local experience through their design, food choices, and art. This hotel is situated on a 25,000 SF parcel within the Union Tempe mixed-use development in downtown Tempe, AZ and is located across the street from Arizona State University. The 198-room building spans 14 floors and features a lobby-level café and bar, a gym, more than 3,000 SF of meeting space, a rooftop pool and terrace bar, cabanas, and a fire pit. Henderson Engineers worked in conjunction with the architect, owner, and contractor team through each stage of the design to ensure the project is built within budget and on schedule while also providing innovative design strategies to address the challenges of building a high-rise hotel in an urban environment.
