Leman Academy operates tuition-free campuses in Arizona and Colorado, with the Parker, CO location marking its eighth campus. Known for offering a classical education, Leman Academy provides students with personalized learning opportunities and smaller class sizes, making it a welcome addition to the Bayou Gulch community. The new facility will include classrooms, a gymnasium, music room with platform stage, commons/cafeteria, administration offices, collaborative learning environments, science labs, and art rooms. Henderson Engineers modernized the mechanical systems by introducing a building automation system (BAS) and replacing the previous maintenance-heavy setup. The school previously relied on gas-fired furnaces with split-system cooling for each classroom. Henderson implemented a more efficient VAV system with electric reheat boxes, eliminating numerous filters and condensate pumps. This upgrade significantly reduces maintenance needs while improving energy efficiency.Henderson also provided acoustics and audio-video design services, including noise analysis for RTU units to meet new classroom acoustics code requirements and audio-video system design for the gymnasium/assembly space and cafeteria.
