Love.Life is a one-stop experience for holistic care for your mind, body, and spirit. Their mission is to offer holistic health practices in a wellness club environment. Their flagship store in El Segundo, CA offers functional and integrated medicine. Henderson Engineers provided building systems design services for this interior renovation project. The existing, single-story 45,055 square feet space was converted from a shell space to a state-of-art wellness facility. The space includes fitness areas; a pickleball court; medical, wellness, and locker rooms; staff area, plaza, and a café. A unique design feature on this project was a curved fire door, which required close coordination between our team and the architect and structural engineer. Acoustics was another key design element, our team made sure that the wellness spaces remained quiet and free from any noise caused by the fitness areas.This project was completed on time in Summer 2024.
