HEI Project Profile - Long
Sono Bello partnered with Henderson Engineers partnered with Sono Bello to transform an existing shell space in Rogers, Arkansas, into a modern outpatient cosmetic surgery and ambulatory surgery center. The project required healthcare-grade environmental controls, medical gas infrastructure, and emergency power systems, while remaining flexible enough to accommodate evolving operational priorities and phased construction. Henderson designed coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems to support procedure rooms, operating rooms, pre-op and recovery areas, and associated support spaces. The team developed HVAC systems designed around ASHRAE 170 ventilation, humidity, and pressurization requirements, integrated medical gas systems for critical care functions, and designed generator-backed healthcare emergency power infrastructure to support operational continuity. As portions of the operating room phase shifted during the project, Henderson worked closely with the owner, architect, and contractor team to revise HVAC layouts, redesign generator systems, and support additional coordination efforts without losing project momentum. The resulting facility provides a reliable, patient-focused environment designed to support efficient clinical operations, long-term flexibility, and a high-quality user experience.
