As part of Massport’s ongoing investment in the passenger experience at Boston Logan International Airport, the Terminal B Restroom Renovation transformed aging facilities into modern, user-focused spaces. The project included upgrades to public men's and women's restrooms, companion care rooms, and mother rooms, providing travelers with improved comfort, accessibility, and amenities while addressing long-standing concerns with the existing facilities.

Henderson Engineers provided engineering services for the renovation, integrating new systems within an active airport environment while minimizing impacts to surrounding operations. The project also introduced smart restroom technology that helps airport staff monitor fixture usage and proactively plan maintenance, enhancing both operational efficiency and the traveler experience. Through thoughtful design and close collaboration with project partners, Henderson helped create welcoming, high-performing spaces that better serve millions of passengers each year.
