HEI Project Profile - Long
Research, cutting-edge facilities, and talented faculty are hallmarks of the University of Kansas’ School of Engineering. The program also touts many distinguished alumni – including several Henderson Engineers team members. We partnered with the university, that’s less than an hour from our Kansas City headquarters, to design the expansion of Eaton Hall. The building is home to KU’s School of Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and the university’s Engineering Career Center. Henderson provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, and technology design services in key areas of the Eaton Hall renovation, such as: • The central plant • The state-of-the-art multimedia lecture hall • Classrooms • Labs • The administrative offices and conference rooms We also incorporated key systems throughout such as closed-circuit TV, enhanced cooling and ventilation, HVAC and network infrastructure. Our team is proud to have played a part in providing the KU School of Engineering with a cutting-edge facility to educate the next generation of engineers – and Henderson team members.
