Internship program
We like to think of our internship program as more than just work, but an experience – because throughout your internship, you’ll get to experience it all. You’ll gain valuable hands-on training, build your skills by working alongside some of the best in the industry, and become part of the team by participating in company social events and community service projects.
GAIN HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE
Over the course of 12 weeks, you’ll learn the ins and outs of engineering. In addition to having a mentor who is focused on helping you get the most out of your internship, you’ll have access to the latest industry software, attend project meetings, visit job sites, and help bring some of the coolest projects to life.
BUILD TECHNICAL SKILLS
Over the summer, you’ll attend weekly technical courses tailored to your engineering discipline, train alongside industry professionals, and put your skills to use on real projects. Through Henderson University, we offer more than 200 engineer-led technical courses focused on the fundamentals of engineering and the AEC industry.
PARTICIPATE IN SITE VISITS
During your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to visit active job sites across the city. As you tour the spaces we’ve helped bring to life, you’ll learn about the building systems behind them. Hard hat and safety vest included.
DIVE IN TO HENDERSON CULTURE
Our culture is one of a kind. Over the summer you’ll join in on company happy hours, social events, team celebrations, and maybe even a ping pong match or two. Trust us – you’ll be part of #TeamHenderson in no time. And did we mention the casual dress code?
GIVING BACK
We believe a well-round Henderson experience includes giving back to the community. And with a paid volunteer event, you’ll get the opportunity to bond with your fellow interns while helping a deserving organization. We call that a win.
