Comprehensive Athletics Facility Assessment – Auburn University

Auburn University partnered with Henderson Engineers to get a full evaluation of many of their athletics facilities and learn about how they match up to the different universities that Henderson has worked with across the nation. Each morning over the course of a week the facilities team at Auburn and our team sat down to have a cup of coffee and discuss the facilities they would be assessing that day. They heard from the team caring for the facilities about their current sequences of operations, concerns, and questions and then evaluated each building carefully.

After collecting field data about the systems, they wrote an extensive report for each facility with recommendations and cost estimates. The report also included a section dedicated to discussing the overall fan and player experiences and how our recommendations would effect them.

The following facilities were evaluated:

Jordan-Hare Stadium – 87,451 seats

Neville Arena – 9,121 seats
